I'm Nethasha, a second-year CS student at IIT, Sri Lanka, pursuing a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science with the University of Westminster. Passionate about building, I've progressed from simple scripts to full-stack and AI solutions, focusing on scalable, user-centric software while seeking internship opportunities.

What I've Built So Far
Built a personalized recipe recommendation system using TF-IDF and cosine similarity. Integrated OpenAI API for dynamic recipe generation and enhanced cooking instructions. Developed backend connections using Node.js and Flask, managing auth, recipe generation requests, and cooking sessions.
Developed the frontend using React (TypeScript) based on Figma UI designs. Built the backend using Node.js and Express, implementing APIs and integrating with MongoDB. Designed the platform UI in Figma, translating wireframes into functional components.
Web platform built with HTML, CSS & JavaScript highlighting the 17 Sustainable Development Goals with a focus on Gender Equality. Dynamic DOM, responsive layout, no frameworks.
Desktop data analysis app built in Python with a Tkinter GUI. Processes real-world vehicle datasets and renders congestion trends and peak-hour visualisations natively.
Developed a Flask web app using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, integrating OpenAI API to detect and classify scam messages in real time.
Developed a desktop booking app using Java OOP and JavaFX. Implemented seat selection and real-time availability display showing available and unavailable seats.
